She’s part parrot, part original thinker. As the leaves were falling throughout October, I’d told her that the leaves were changing colors. As we’d drive in the car, she’d point out that the leaves were changing colors, turning red, orange (orngin, actually, is what she says), and yellow. She said it often enough that what I’d said became part of her personal monologue.
This pumpkin decorating, though, is all her. Stickers seemed like such a better plan than a knife – and this girl loves stickers. I love her focus (and the fact that she put her shoes on herself – check them out!).
I hope that November holds some beautiful fall days, too, where crisp outweighs cold and warm outweighs wintery. I know one girl who will love it.
